Certificate Program in Youth Ministry Studies™
Training at Your Fingertips
Beginning in Fall, 2021, EQSaints will assume operations for the Certificate Program in Youth Ministry StudiesTM, equipping you with the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques needed for comprehensive youth ministry. The program provides the youth ministers and volunteers in your diocese or region with a common vision and skillset, which builds a culture of excellence. And with years of experience with in-person programs and new tools to power virtual learning, we’re making it more convenient than ever to take your youth ministry to the next level.
- For current students or sponsors whose program will be complete by Fall 2021: Your current courses and programs will continue to be operated by the Center for Ministry Development, and you will experience no change in the program. Please continue to access your course materials and complete your assignments as usual.
- For current students or sponsors whose program will continue past Fall 2021: You can expect to continue toward completion with no interruption. When EQSaints assumes operations in the Fall, you will follow the same course structure, but will access course materials and administration through a convenient new web interface, and will benefit from the updated course content and new tools for virtual learning. Look for more information in your inbox this summer.

All of the resources you’ve come to know and expect with your Youth Ministry Access™ subscription will continue to be available to you after the transition. When EQSaints launches the new EQAccess™ platform in May, subscribers can expect a number of improvements:
- A new, easier-to-navigate, modern web interface, to make it easier for you to find content that fits your youth group’s needs.
- The ability to edit new sessions, tailoring them to your parish or school and to your people.
- A new, comprehensive framework for guiding your young people from evangelization to Christian maturity, called Equipped for Life. This new, 4-year program—included in your subscription to EQAccessTM —is designed to be used over the course of a young person’s high school career, moving them from an initial encounter with Christ to an adult understanding of faith, and laying the foundation for a life-long relationship with the Lord.
- Improved instruction and support. The new resources we release will come with clear guides, instructional videos, and all the supporting materials you need to bring each session to life. Over time, we will also be revisiting the hundreds of existing sessions from the Youth Ministry AccessTM catalog to update them and add new instruction guides and supporting materials.
In Fall 2021, EQSaints will assume management of the Certificate Program in Youth Ministry Studies™, equipping you with the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques needed for comprehensive youth ministry. Until then, the Center for Ministry Development will continue to operate the program, and current students will continue with their current instructors and should experience no interruption in their participation. To sponsor or register for new sessions beginning in Fall 2021, please contact EQSaints.
If you are a current student whose Certificate program will be complete by Fall 2021, you should experience no change to your program. You will continue in your current courses with your current instructors and should continue to complete your assignments as usual. Your certificate will be issued by the Center for Ministry Development upon completion. If you a current student whose Certificate program will continue past 2021, you can expect to continue toward completion with no interruption. When EQSaints assumes operations in the Fall, you will follow the same course structure, but will access course materials and administration through a convenient new web interface, and will benefit from the revised course content and new tools for virtual learning.
